Little Springs Design was founded in 2001 and is located in beautiful Lawrence, Kansas. Specializing in the practice of user-centered design for the mobile industry, Little Springs Design works to understand the needs of your business and customers. We bring our knowledge of the user, their needs in design, and the potentials of technology to you. President and Founder

Barbara "invented" the field of human factors while in college in 1990, and then was thrilled to discover that it actually existed. Since then, she has focused her passion on the intersections of physical and virtual, software and hardware. Her history at IBM, Sprint, and Little Springs Design includes design for mobile applications, web sites and services, speech recognition, and desktop applications.

Mark is a technology jack of all trades, with skills ranging from massive scale system architecture to mobile device prototyping, for Fortune 50 organizations down to 2-person shops. Experience in other fields from geography and photojournalism to Olympic-level coaching brings many viewpoints to every project.

Steven Hoober

Steven Hoober

Senior Interaction Designer

Steven has led projects on security, account management, content distribution, and communications services for numerous products, from construction supplies to hospital recordkeeping. Before coming to Little Springs, Steven spent eight years at U.S. mobile operator Sprint.
