Expert Review


Sometimes there just isn’t enough time or money to invest in a full design or research project. In these cases, the eyes of an independent expert can bring fresh perspective and significant knowledge to a project. Typical customers are industry associations, carriers, and startup companies.

Little Springs Design provides expert heuristic reviews for mobile products and services. We employ:

  • Knowledge derived from academic training in human factors, engineering, and design

  • Understanding based on review of hundreds of research studies

  • Results of dozens of ethnographic studies

  • Extensive industry experience and mobile design knowledge

  • Deep practice in various user experience disciplines

  • Technology and systems architecture expertise

  • Current industry status

  • Experience designing, using, and testing mobile devices, applications, and web sites

Each project varies, but typical inputs include use case documents, wireframes, and live sites. A typical report might include major usability issues, recommended feature additions (or subtractions), easy changes, long-term changes, wire frame sketches, and flow charts. A report is not a full design, rather a quick review and change of directions. Reports run from 5 to 30 pages.

In addition to the easy to read report, we will optionally provide a presentation of findings.
